Neil P. Schwartz, O.D.
Dr. Schwartz is a 1969 graduate of Pennsylvania State University and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1973. He has been a member of the Chester-Delaware County Optometric Society since 1980 and served as President in 1983-1986 and 2004-2005. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association, American Optometric Association Aviation Vision Section and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association Vision Benefits Committee. Since 1969 he has been a member of the optometric fraternity Omega Epsilon Phi and the honors fraternity Beta Sigma Kappa.
In the local community, Dr. Schwartz has been a member of the Marple-Newtown JayCees (1975-1983), Marple-Newtown Lions Club (1984-present) and served as president in 1999. He is also a member of the Temple-Sholom Brotherhood and the Marple-Newtown Youth Recreation Center. |
Dr. Schwartz continues his education earning 25 credit hours every year and regularly attends conventions all across the country to gain further knowledge in his field and about the technology that advances it.
